The two proposed ByLaw revisions were passed. 1) change to hold annual meeting on Memorial Day weekend, not limited to Saturday and allow distribution of materials to owners via electronic means.
Elections: Bernadette Collins, Ken Hunter, David Leach, Dennis O’Brien and Les Ulanow were not up for re-election. Diane Rosenberg and Joe Simeone stepped off the Board; Karen Castle and Tom Seamon were elected to fill the vacant slots. Many thanks to Karen and Tom for “giving back” to the Tower Shores community. The new Board of Directors will convene soon to determine who the officers will be for FY2020.
The issue of dogs on the beach was briefly discussed. Diane Rosenberg, TSBA President, reviewed highlights of DE state laws regarding dogs on the beach and covered the potential negatives for the community. A straw poll was taken “to approve dogs on the beach before 7:00 AM and after 7:00 PM”. Results: 12 for and about 40 against.
More details will be provided as soon as they become available.
