I’ve just finished sending out the dues invoices to all homeowners. (The four condominium associations — Atlantis 1, Four Winds, Ocean Courts, and Ocean Hamlet — got billed separately.) If you haven’t received yours, please check your junk mail folder. And if you still haven’t received it please get in touch with me.
We’re doing things a little bit differently this year, which I think warrants an explanation. In order to accommodate several requests, we are now invoicing through PNC, our bank, so that we can offer a “Pay Now” electronic payment option. As a result, this year’s invoices will have a different “look” than prior years.
But despite the new look, and the expanded payment option, nothing has really changed. We will continue to be grateful to those among our membership who send in their dues payment promptly. Over 40% of our budget goes to trash and recycling, and those payments are being made on a year-round basis. The grass is growing and needs to be mowed regularly. We’re now geared up for the summer, and will have constant payments to make as a result. So please pay your invoice promptly so that we can continue to pay our bills.
Another thing that hasn’t changed is that unpaid invoices will be assessed a late fee of $50.00 if payment hasn’t been received by August 31st. Interest charges of 1 1/2% per month will begin to accrue as well.
Finally, if you prefer to pay by check, the mailing information is contained in the pdf file attached to your e-mail.
If anyone has any questions or needs to contact me, my e-mail address is firstname.lastname@example.org. Office phone is 202.429.1477.
Many thanks and best regards,

So far 65 of our members have paid their 2019-2020 dues. The preliminary results are in: 47 sent in checks, while 18 utilized the “Pay Now” option. That’s nearly 28%, which imho is a pretty good “take rate.” Many thanks to those who have paid promptly, and for everyone else, don’t forget to pay your dues!
